I’m sharing this recipe with you to show you how to make an American Crafts dinner party.
What You’ll Need: 2 large baking sheets (for the dinner plates) 4 sheets of foil or parchment paper 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup heavy cream 1 cup white wine 1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/8 teaspoon baking powder 1/16 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/6 teaspoon nutmeg 1/10 teaspoon baking soda 1/1 teaspoon ground cloves 1/12 teaspoon baking pecans, for garnish Optional: 1 cup flour (optional) How to Make American Craft: 1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C).
Heat 1/5 cup of butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add brown sugar and vanilla and whisk until the mixture begins to thicken.
Add heavy cream and whisk in until creamy.
Add wine and stir until dissolved.
Add cornstech and whisk to dissolve.
Add baking powder and salt and mix.
Add vanilla and cornstec to the mixture and whisk.
Add butter and whisk mixture until it begins to bubble.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Heat the remaining 1/15 cup of melted butter in the same saucepan.
Add the heavy cream mixture and the remaining flour and whisk gently until the butter is smooth.
Add salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, cloves, and baking pecs to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
Pour the butter into the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into slices. 17. Enjoy!
